Storytelling konsert við Søren Manscher /Storytelling Concert with Søren Manscher

Storytelling konsert við Søren Manscher /Storytelling Concert with Søren Manscher

Søren Manscher Live: Søren Manscher: vokal og guitar Torleik Mortensen: bas Hjørtur Háberg: trommer Søren Manscher’s intense songs about everyday life are written on the guitar, with compelling storytelling at their heart. His songs explore absurdity, idyll and powerlessness. Through an almost spoken-word-like delivery set against catchy melodies spanning a broad musical range, Manscher tells stories about everything from travelling through Denmark in the classic road song “Jeg Blaffer” to the difficult journey towards forgiveness and acceptance in “Jeg Ønsker Dig Et Godt Liv”. In 2019, Søren Manscher toured 19 Danish cities as the supporting act for Søren Huss in connection with the release of his debut album, "Det er balancerne der holder sammen på det hele". The debut was followed in 2022 by Den Stærke Sol, all three singles from which received frequent airplay on P4, P5 and P6. In 2024, Manscher released the single “Som En Bror”, which was recorded and produced with Teitur in the Faroe Islands. In autumn 2026, Søren Manscher will release his third album, "Hvis jeg bare kunne finde ordene", which also features the radio singles “Gylden Indeni” and “Lad Hundene Rende”. Konsert við fjøllistakvinnuni Daniu O. Tausen og & Bartal /Concert with multidisciplinary artist Dania O. Tausen and & Bartal

Tausen and & Bartal will perform together in the Faroe Islands for the first time at Testovan in Klaksvík. Both are musicians and poets who have received considerable praise for their storytelling and songwriting. Dania has released two albums: gonguteigatúnatos (2021) and ja/nei – og restin av vikuni (2023), which won Album of the Year at FMA 2023. & Bartal is known for the release Guðrun & Bartal, but now performs simply as & Bartal. He is deliberately eccentric, yet longs to fit in. His lyrics are lofty, rich in words and sometimes marked by outsider language. In recent years, & Bartal has established himself as a solo artist on the Faroese music scene. Through numerous performances abroad and at home in the Faroe Islands, he has steadily developed material for releases that will see the light of day soon. At the concert, they will perform songs by both Dania O. Tausen and & Bartal. This is a seated living room concert, with guests seated around tables. Seinferð konsert við Leu Kampmann / Seinferð Concert with Lea Kampmann

Seinferð konsert við Leu Kampmann / Seinferð Concert with Lea Kampmann

Dyrnar lata upp kl 19:00 so tað er møguligt at finna sær pláss, og at keypa sær okkurt gott at njóta áðrenn tónleikurin byrjar kl. 20. Konsertin er stuðlað av Økistónum. Seinferð – A Concert Where You Can Breathe An evening of presence and intimacy awaits as Lea performs the songs from her release Seinferð. Seinferð means “slow motion,” and this is the very essence of the concert—a stand against the haste that encroaches upon our lives. An inner rebellion against the pressure to run as fast as everyone else, even when it does not feel right. The songs were written with Teitur during snowy weather in Hoydalar—in the stillness, where words and melodies were allowed to grow at their own pace. This is music that leaves room to feel, to remember and to breathe. At the concert, the music is given room, the words find their own place, and time is not something you have to race against, but something you can inhabit. This is a seated living room concert, with guests seated around tables. Each table accommodates four people, so if you wish to sit together, please book your tickets as one group. The Little Kitchen will be serving light bites, while Fjósið will offer carefully selected wines and other refreshments. Doors open at 7:00 pm, giving guests time to find their seats and purchase something to enjoy before the music begins at 8:00 pm. The concert is kindly supported by Økistónar.

Nólsoyar Páll

Born Páll Nólsøe in 1766, this remarkable man became a symbol of Faroese independence. A poet, politician, and patriot, he fought tirelessly against Danish trade monopolies and for the rights of his people. His home, where you stand today, was the center of revolutionary thinking and the birthplace of the Faroese independence movement. Every room echoes with the conversations that shaped a nation.

The Ship That Defied an Empire

Built from salvaged English timber when Danish authorities denied ship-building permits, Royndin Fríða became a symbol of Faroese ingenuity and determination. Páll and his collaborators created this vessel to carry not just cargo, but the dreams of free trade and Faroese independence. Though the ship was eventually lost at sea, its legacy lives on as a symbol of the fight for freedom.
