General Booking Information
Thank you for choosing Biskupstøðgarðurin for your tea cottage experience, event participation, or meeting venue needs. Please read our booking policy carefully before making a reservation.
Tea Cottage Reservations
Booking & Confirmation
- Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance
- A deposit of 50 DKK per person is required to secure your booking
- You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours
- Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled time
Cancellation Policy
- Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your reservation
- Cancellations within 48 hours: 50% deposit refund
- Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows: no refund
- Changes to party size must be communicated 24 hours in advance
Event Bookings
Registration
- Events have limited capacity and are first-come, first-served
- Full payment is required at the time of booking
- Confirmation will be sent via email with event details
- Some events may have minimum age requirements
Cancellation & Refunds
- Cancel up to 7 days before the event for a full refund
- Cancellations within 7 days: 50% refund or credit toward future events
- No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of the event
- If we cancel an event, full refunds will be issued within 7 business days
Meeting Venue Inquiries
Meeting venue bookings are handled on a case-by-case basis. After submitting an inquiry:
- We will respond within 2 business days with availability and pricing
- A written agreement will be provided outlining all terms
- A 30% deposit is required to secure the venue
- Final payment is due 14 days before your event
- Custom catering and equipment needs can be arranged

We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit/Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard)
- Bank transfer (for venue bookings)
- Mobile payment solutions
Special Requirements
Please inform us of any dietary restrictions, allergies, accessibility needs, or special requests at the time of booking. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Weather & Force Majeure
In the case of extreme weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events and bookings. In such cases, full refunds or rescheduling options will be offered.
